Condensate pots ( or equalizing pots) are used in steam applications to keep the condensate columns in the pressure measuring lines constant. In the event of load fluctuations and the associated shift in the contents of the measuring line, excess condensate can flow back into the main line or missing condensate can quickly f or m again in the pots.
