Thermometer protection tubes are used for the safe installation of temperature sensors in pipelines. They prevent direct contact between the sensor and the process medium and are therefore preferred for aggressive media and high dynamic loads. In addition, they offer the option of removing the temperature sensor for maintenance purposes while the process is running.
